Excavation Conctractor

Since much of the same equipment allows the completion of both, you will often see concrete and excavation work offered together. Clearworks has experience using both large as well as compact excavators, and offers trenching, dirt work, general grading, precision grading, site work, demolition work, and other forms of general excavation.

Trenching

Whether you need trenching for a conduit or an industrial storm pipe such as shown here, Clearworks can help with your needs. While a strict policy is kept for not digging until the utilities are located, that service only goes up to the meter and does not include any privately owned pipes or wires. Not everything is locatable, but we do have underground locating equipment to assist in finding those privately owned assets so that we can reduce repairs and get your job done for the lowest cost.

Retaining Walls

Excavation contractors are needed for retaining walls since you must start by removing the bank and build a suitable base. Drainage is also a must since hydrostatic pressure from ground water or rain can be tremendous. This wall is made from natural stone, has positive drainage, and has a backdrop of recycled aggregates for a maintenance free, appealing, and environmentally friendly finish.

Precision Grading

Most general grading of dirt or gravel is usually done by eyesight and then checked with laser measuring equipment. In addition, Clearworks also offers precision grading equipment, which can greatly enhance elevation accuracy when it matters the most. Applications where precision would needed is when something costly such as aggregates are being used. Precision grading equipment follows the laser target line, automatically making adjustments to stay within the target area.

Site Dirt Work

During new construction, a remodel, or an addition, it is common to need your site layout changed or adjusted to manage storm water or meet your privacy needs. Or maybe you just need to get an area graded and conditioned so that grass can grow. Whatever your job or budget, Clearworks can deliver your vision - both above, and below ground.

Driveways and Parking

New driveways can be gravel, concrete, or asphalt, but no matter the finish you will need a good base. In many cases a "base" is formed by removing topsoil and cutting into suitable dirt, then hauling, spreading and compacting aggregates. Considerations should also be made for future use, maintenance, storm runoff, and surrounding elevations. Demolition

Whether you want an old barn out of the way and grass in its place, or you need old foundations removed to make way for a new project, we have experience combined with the machinery necessary to help you get it done.
