Parking Lot Line Striping

Brightly painted lines put the finishing touches and curb appeal on your business. It also makes it easier for customers to move about while on your property by clearly showing bounds for pedestrians, direction of traffic flow, and safety or delivery lanes. Painted parking lines are a maintenance item and the time between applications depends on traffic use.

Restripe Over Existing

A restripe of your parking lot is an extremely affordable and quick way to brighten your image without the higher cost or downtime of sealcoating. If you want to keep your budget lower, or just want to get a couple more years out of your sealcoating without your parking lot looking tattered, a re-stripe is for you. As shown here,  striping and stenciling can easily be done over existing asphalt or sealcoating, although in some cases different stencils may not align perfectly. In most cases the new stencil can be arranged so what is left of the prior stencil is not noticeable, but even if a total change is needed we can always paint a black background and then paint the stencil over.

New Asphalt or Sealcoating

New projects with new asphalt such as shown here need to have a curing period in which the asphalt can bleed oils before painting. Additionally, new surfaces may require 2 coats of paint, which is what has been done here and is shown with this red fire lane marking. We have experience doing new layout, and can assist with American Disability Act (ADA) compliance.

Modern Equipment

Equipment can make a big difference in a job result.
Clearworks Line Stiping of Ohio strives to stay up to date with equipment that deliver the best job results. Lasers, hydraulic pumping, and auto layout technology plays a big role in ensuring that the width of the marking lines are consistent, and that the lines are even and straight. A smooth parking lot will allow the machine to perform much better than a rough lot, but going equipped to do the best is always essential.

Stencil Work

Drive-thru restaurants, drive thru pharmacies, factory shipping docks with numbered spaces, and airports are all examples of organizational stenciling. Clearworks has a good selection of common words such as "no parking", "fire lane", "loading zone" and a few others in a variety of sizes, as well as a full alphabet and number selection to spell any words needed. We also can provide custom stencils in your own font to your own specifications, or even a stencil with your company logo.

Parking Blocks / Wheel Stops

Known by different names, the parking bumpers along a walkway are designed to keep vehicles out of the pedestrian area and are a requirement for certain walks to stay within American Disability Act (ADA) requirements. These bumper blocks wheel stops are usually concrete or rubber, but there are also composite and plastic versions in a variety of colors.

Pipe Bollards

Although pipe bollards are more accurately classified as a concrete project, many times these are used in parking lots and can be part of the striping work since they are painted safety yellow or fire lane red in many cases. Different paint would be used to paint these steel safety bollards than what is used for parking stalls or no parking zones, but Shermin Williams does offer paint with the correct formulation in a matching pigment. While we have and are willing to paint pipe bollards, we recommend covers that can save future maintenance while offering a more finished look.
